I'M ANDEE GRANDITS,

I have been painting for over 30 years but I have no formal training. For me painting is an intuitive process that allows me to express complex emotions and thoughts and transform them into beauty.

My most recent completed oil painting series is called the Mia Series. I worked on this series following the death of my 16 year old daughter in 2014. It expresses the deeply transformative journey of grief and healing, and the exquisite beauty that arose through this journey. I am currently working on a series called Metamorphosis.
